Meet Our Team

Tim was born in Burbank, CA and spent his early years moving between the Valley and later the South Bay. As a kid, Tim moved around between parents, but by the end of high school, he found a sense of belonging in the scenes surrounding music. He began working as an unofficial roadie for a punk rock band during high school & after. soon he was introduced to the rave scene, which left a lasting impact on him. The music and culture captivated him, igniting a deep and enduring passion for the overall rave experience.

Tim quickly found a place working with established promotion crews like Motivation LA and Warm, Fuzzy & Vibetribe (later Addicted events) learning the ins & outs of flyer promoting & basic event production leaning into his natural instincts.

In early 1999, Tim began working on any small event that needed help, which quickly put him in a place to be hired by major players in the industry like Insomniac, Go Ventures, Audiotistic, Jujubeats, and in a lead role with Motivation LA among others. During these years Tim acted as everything from a production runner, to a flyer promoter, head promoter, organizer of many things and even the lead organizer or designer of many smaller events. A few times he even found himself having to quickly figure out how to make the entry work to get people inside as fast as possible. With each experience, Tim honed his skills, learning from seasoned promoters each who helped him in figuring out a place for his own craft.

In 2005, Tim founded Fresh Entertainment, and the following year launched notable events such as Winter Fresh, Fresh Squeezed, Fresh Anniversary and the daytime event Fresh Days which created a ton of donations to charitable organizations. Daytime events hold a special place in Tim’s heart and he was quick to try and add flavor that into his own brand of events.

Tim’s well crafted, mid-sized events quickly gained traction, thanks to his innovative promotion style and extensive knowlage of the overall rave experience. Before long, his events were breaking recent records, establishing the brand as a top-tier experience in the rave scene.

In 2013, Fresh Entertainment found itself under different management, creating only regurgitated designs and ideas leading to a big decline in attendance. Following this period of transition, Tim took a break from regular involvement in Dance Music for a few years. Despite stepping back tho, his love for rave culture remained strong, and from 2016 to today, Tim can still be found dancing to LA’s hometown favorites at day & night events all over Southern California.

Currently, Tim is spearheading the @itstartswithpeace podcast that will delve into the intricacies of rave culture, continuing to share his passion with the community in every way possible, except this time entirely created with love, hard work & connection only from people within our scene. Even the initial filming location is being provided from rave friends.
